Back by popular demand, the brightest stars in the ukulele universe strum their stuff as celebrated cabaret diva Tricity Vogue returns to host a special garden party with more uke-toting friends. Featuring sing-alongs and the chance to join our very own ukulele ensemble the Albany All Stars. Bring your uke! (and maybe an umbrella - it is British summertime after all!) ‘Kooky, quirky and ever so sweet’Time Out Become an Albany All Star!Once again we will be forming our very own Ukulele Orchestra, the Albany All Stars, to perform a spectacular closing number. Tickets to Ukulele Cabaret only are £7. Tickets to the Ukulele Cabaret including Albany All Stars workshop are £12, £10 concs and can be booked here. |

D’ukulele Saturday 26th May 2012 Cramphorn Theatre, Fairfield Road, Chelmsford, Essex. CM1 1JG Are you learning the ukulele or did you receive one at Christmas and don’t know how to play it? If the answer is YES! Then come along to the Cramphorn Theatre for an afternoon of ukulele fun. Following the success of D’Ukes Fest 2011, the first ukulele festival for East London and Essex and D’Ukulele in London, Essex based ukulele band D’Ukes have teamed up with the Cramphorn Theatre to bring D’Ukulele! to Chelmsford as part of the series of Altogether Now events. D’Ukulele! promises an afternoon of performances showcasing ukulele acts, ukulele workshops for beginners and a mass ukulele jam. So if you want to play ukulele pick up your uke and come along! D’Ukulele! runs from 12noon to 5pm with the ukulele jam session at 4.30pm. All participants will be asked to contribute £3 towards the cost of the event. Please see the D’Ukulele!
